In April and May 2022 CoinsPaid implemented a lot of new features. The period was marked by the integration of a new asset into the company’s systems and the pinpoint improvement of work in the B2C and B2B directions. Learn more about the new functions and improvements!

B2B updates

We did a lot of work in the B2B sphere, a significant part of which concerned the placement of the token BRZ, new transactions, further product integration and many new handy features.

  • BRZ Listing

CoinsPaid has integrated Brazilian Digital Token into our ecosystem. For now, merchants can use it for deposits and withdrawals. In the future, we’ll enable exchanges.

  • New explorer links for new currencies

We implemented appropriate explorers for cryptocurrencies — such as BNB-BSC, BUSD and CSC — so that our users can quickly open their transactions in the appropriate explorer right from the transaction details.

  • New Transactions page by default

We launched a new simplified transactions page for all our end-users by default. This page is faster than the “old“ one, so now users enjoy viewing their transactions more.

  • Exchange: Display real amount instead of EUR equivalen

We improved the details of the exchange transaction.

Before: EUR equivalent was displayed for Exchange transactions in the header instead of the amount that was really “bought“ in terms of the transaction. That was confusing, especially in the case of buying EUR as EUR equivalent differs from real EUR amount.

Now: EUR equivalent is not displayed in the header. Instead, there are always “sell“ and “buy“ amounts which give users clear understanding on the exchange.

  • Handy Navigation Rail

One more usability improvement in Back Office is the new Navigation Rail. Now there is no need to expand this component anymore to see where to go, because all titles are visible in a single collapsed view.

  • UI Themes Improvement

In order to enable dark theme for all users smoothly we improved the logic related to UI themes in Back Office.

Now it’s possible to configure what theme will be “default”. The default theme is enabled for all users until they select some theme explicitly in Account Settings. As before, it’s possible to enable Light and Dark themes on the environment. We also added the ability to enable the “System” theme (the theme will be automatically set depending on the system mode). This way, the user can choose between Light, Dark and System options.

B2C direction

As part of this direction, we have updated services and made improvements in the creation of subscription flow and KYC implementation for greater comfort for our users.

“Front”

In this sphere, we carried out work with the Wallet system currency, dealing with it has become more convenient for users. Now it has become more comfortable and even more pleasant to operate with currencies.

  • Fiat currency turn off for the user

When there’re no fiat currencies available and the merchant wants the user to see the parts of the interface only related to crypto so he can use the wallet for crypto operations only.

  • System/base currency behavior when the currency is turned off

For the cases when a particular currency is set as a system currency, turning off this currency from the wallet should not affect the equivalent calculations to system currency as CoinsPaid wallet system currency is EUR.

  • P&P improvements

We have made improvements in the creation of subscription flow and KYC implementation. Now our users with zero KYC level when trying to subscribe to any service receive a notification that they need to verify identity first to make the subscription.

“Back”

As part of the work in this area, we launched new services and began the process of using a new API version for mobile apps and implementing base currency functionality.

  • Services update

We implemented a service info screen, it contains a transaction list of selected services. Users have the possibility to set limits for service. Also they can connect and disconnect services from the mobile wallet as well as from web applications.

  • Fixed bug: Device restarts when scrolling Countries drop down menu

Before: user is in process of the account registration, trying to select country from Select Country drop down on iOS device. But the app restarts.

Now: Bug is fixed, there’s no trouble anymore with selecting the country on the user Registration page.

Our plans

Currently, we plan to implement a new API version for mobile applications and improve the base currency functionality. Soon our users will be able to see the amounts in base currency in total balance amount in Wallet, balance equivalents in Wallet, transaction equivalents in send payments and other new features.
